Trevor Lee Faces Yota Tsuji at MLW’s Saturday Night SuperFight

Published November 5, 2026.

Trevor Lee will take on New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Yota Tsuji at MLW’s Saturday Night SuperFight in Chicago on November 7. Lee, who joined Major League Wrestling seven months ago, challenged Tsuji to the match. Tsuji accepted and will make his MLW debut at the event.

Lee holds MLW’s Southern Crown Championship and has faced wrestlers including Kushida, Austin Aries and Místico during his run with the company. He views the bout as a chance to prove he can compete at the highest level and potentially earn an opportunity with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he has never wrestled.

The match is not for Tsuji’s IWGP heavyweight title. But Lee said a victory could help put him in contention. Tsuji has reigned twice as IWGP heavyweight champion and has also held other New Japan titles.

Saturday Night SuperFight is one of MLW’s biggest events of the year, with seven matches scheduled. The card features MLW world heavyweight champion Killer Kross putting his title on the line against Josh Bishop in a contest that ends only when one man cannot continue. The pay-per-view begins at 8 p.m. ET on Veeps.
