Christian Bale Praises Daughter Luka’s Creative Talent

On November 4 in Los Angeles, Christian Bale spoke about his daughter Luka’s work in modeling and photography at the premiere of Madden. The actor said he is proud of the 21-year-old’s creative abilities and can picture her directing him one day. Bale joked that he would be nervous on her set, but would probably behave better for her than for anyone else.

Bale said he has not offered Luka advice about being in the public eye because he is still figuring out how to handle it himself. He added that she has a good head on her shoulders. Bale and his wife, Sibi Blazic, also have a 12-year-old son, Joseph. Bale said both children are accustomed to his acting transformations and are not especially impressed by them.

In Madden, Bale plays Al Davis, the NFL coach and friend of John Madden, portrayed by Nicolas Cage. Bale described working on the film as enjoyable and praised Cage’s commitment to the role. Madden is scheduled to open in select theaters on November 11 and arrive on Prime Video on November 18.
