Zac Affleck Says He Is Focused on His Children After Divorce Filing

Zac Affleck said he is focusing on his children after learning through news coverage that his wife, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Jen Affleck, had filed to end their marriage. Jen submitted the petition in Utah County District Court on November 3 and included a proposed parenting plan. She is pregnant with their fourth child.

The couple have three children: Nora, 4, Lucas, 3, and Penelope, 1. Zac said he would continue supporting Jen and hoped she would be happy in the next stage of her life. He also said he was focused on the children and working out his own next steps.

The divorce news surfaced on Nora’s birthday. Both parents shared birthday posts, while Jen was absent from a video Zac posted of a theme park outing with his oldest child. The pair married in 2019 after meeting the year before.

Their relationship difficulties have featured on the Hulu reality series. Jen has spoken about attending therapy with Zac, and the couple announced in June that they were expecting another baby. Jen has also described struggling in recent months as they adjusted to family life in Orange County, California.

Jen is set to appear in the upcoming spinoff “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County,” which is scheduled to premiere on November 12. Zac did not film scenes for the spinoff, TMZ reported.
