Bravo Joins Philo’s $25-a-Month Streaming Lineup
Bravo is now available as a live channel on Philo, whose subscriptions start at $25 a month. The addition brings shows including The Real Housewives and Below Deck to the streaming service. On-demand Bravo programming is expected to arrive later, and the deal also includes a selection of NBCUniversal’s free, ad-supported channels.
Philo offers more than 70 cable networks devoted to entertainment and lifestyle shows. The company says nearly 85% of subscribers watch reality TV, and about half identify it as their primary genre. Bravo had been among the service’s most-requested channels for years.
Philo CEO Mike Keyserling said the agreement had been in development for some time and that Bravo filled a gap in a lineup strong in reality and lifestyle content. NBCUniversal executive Amy Geary said the partnership would let Philo subscribers watch Bravo programming. The deal is the companies’ first partnership, and Philo has not provided an updated subscriber or revenue figure.
