ISO Launches to Manage Digital Creators and Artists
ISO has about 24 employees across Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta. Lee, formerly responsible for gaming and livestreaming at UTA’s creators division, is the company’s CEO and co-founder. Yan, previously chief talent officer at FaZe Clan, is co-founder and head of music. Matt Alsberg, whose past roles include work at Sony’s PlayStation, Twitch and UTA, leads talent for the firm.
The roster includes livestreamers, gamers, musicians, VTubers and lifestyle creators, among them PlaqueBoyMax, Jasontheween, Ironmouse, Kyedae and RDCWorld. ISO also works with brands including Electronic Arts, Discord, Underdog and Icenova. Its business spans talent representation, brand work and music-related artist management and consulting.
Lee and Yan say the company is designed around creators who build audiences online and want to develop businesses across multiple areas. That can include original intellectual property, products and live events, as well as international opportunities. Yan has cited potential for taking livestreamers on tours abroad, including in China, where the founders have established distribution relationships.
The founders previously worked together at Press X and Everyday Influencers, agencies acquired by UTA in 2018, before joining UTA. Influence Media Partners is financing ISO. Its founder and co-managing partner, Lylette Pizarro, said the company’s approach fits the investment firm’s focus on culture and entertainment.
