Man Shot as Police Respond to Possible Barricade in Atlanta

Atlanta police responded to a shooting along the 900 stretch of Hank Aaron Drive SE on the evening of November 4. The incident prompted a substantial police presence, with about a dozen police vehicles at the scene, near the location where a potential suspect was believed to be barricaded inside a home.

Emergency responders came upon a man with a gunshot wound. He was awake, alert and breathing when they reached him. Authorities have not released his name or provided a later update on his condition.
