Karine Jean-Pierre to serve on Jawando transition team

On November 4, 2026, Montgomery County executive-elect Will Jawando announced in Rockville that former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and seven others would serve on his transition steering committee. Jawando also plans countywide community workshops beginning November 30 and to release an administration action plan on December 8.
