The Woodlands High School Locked Down After Phone Threat

The campus of The Woodlands High School went into lockdown November 4 after staff got a possible threat over the phone earlier that afternoon. School administrators initiated the lockdown as a precaution, and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies went to the campus to secure it and assist with the investigation.

A student was reportedly arrested after making a threat on social media and running from a classroom, though authorities have not publicly detailed the threat or confirmed the circumstances of an arrest. Parents were seen lining up outside the school to pick up students.

Authorities continued to investigate the threat. Officials had not released information about any injuries.
