Jeremy Moss Wins Michigan’s 11th District

Jeremy Moss, a Democratic Michigan state senator from Southfield, won the election for the state’s 11th Congressional District on November 3, 2026. The result keeps the competitive seat in Democratic hands as both parties seek control of Congress.

With just over 65% of votes counted, Moss had 59.53% against Republican Ethan Baker’s 38.14%. Baker is Troy’s mayor.

Communities in the district include Troy, Royal Oak, Farmington Hills and Pontiac, as well as neighboring areas in western Oakland County. It was represented by Haley Stevens, who left the House race to run for the U.S. Senate and lost in the primary. Moss previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives and is currently a state senator.
