Bridget Fonda Makes Rare Los Angeles Appearance

Fonda wore black trousers, a white shirt and a loose yellow button-down during the outing. She completed the casual look with white sneakers and a black bag, and wore her hair tied back. The appearance offered a rare glimpse of the former actor, who has largely stayed away from public life since leaving the screen.

Her final screen credit was the 2002 television movie Snow Queen. In 2023, when asked about returning to acting, Fonda said, “It’s too nice being a civilian.”

Fonda has focused on family life with her husband, composer Danny Elfman, whom she married in 2003, and their son Oliver. She is part of the Fonda acting family: her father was actor Peter Fonda, her aunt is Jane Fonda, and her grandfather was Henry Fonda.

During her career, Bridget Fonda appeared in films including Single White Female, Singles and Jackie Brown. She has not announced a return to acting.
