Milo Ventimiglia Recalls Gilmore Girls Days With Alexis Bledel

Ventimiglia remembered carrying a large prop bag that had been made light; he asked for a sandbag to be added so it would look and feel heavy. He and Bledel dated from 2002 to 2006, and the pair’s characters were romantically involved on the show.

Ventimiglia is expected to take part in an upcoming Gilmore Girls documentary being made for HBO Max, overseen by the show's creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino. Lauren Graham, who played Lorelai Gilmore, is also set to appear. Ventimiglia said he had not recorded his contribution and did not know what the conversation would cover. He added that fans still approach him with questions about particular lines, though the show was made 26 years ago.
