One Dead, Another Injured in Snohomish County Shooting
Deputies arrived around 2 a.m. on November 1 after receiving notice of gunfire near 172nd Street Southeast and 61st Avenue Southeast, in unincorporated Snohomish County. The sheriff’s office Major Crimes Unit is looking into what led to the gunfire. By Monday morning, November 2, no arrests had been made. Investigators had not determined whether the suspect and the victims knew one another, but said they did not believe there was an ongoing danger to the public.
The county medical examiner’s office is responsible for establishing the deceased man’s identity, cause of death and manner of death. Anyone with information about the shooting may reach the sheriff’s office Major Crimes Unit at 425-388-3845.
