Auburn Opens as 10.5-Point Favorite Against Arkansas
Auburn enters the November 7 home game at 4-4 overall and 2-4 in the SEC. Arkansas is 3-5 overall and 1-4 in conference play. The game will air on SEC Network, and Auburn opened as a 10.5-point favorite.
The Tigers lost 45-15 to Ole Miss on October 31. Quarterback Byrum Brown completed 25 of 38 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown, and also scored on a run. Arkansas fell 34-10 to Missouri that day; K.J. Jackson threw for 229 yards and an interception, and ran for a touchdown.
Auburn averages 24.1 points and 368 yards per game, while allowing 26.8 points and 408.1 yards. Arkansas averages 19.6 points and 336.1 yards, and gives up 27.6 points and 361.8 yards. Auburn has converted 43.8% of its third downs; Arkansas allows opponents to convert 43.1%. The Tigers’ defense has allowed opponents to score on 96.2% of red-zone trips.
Auburn’s next game is at Mississippi State on November 14, while Arkansas will host South Carolina. A win would give Auburn its fifth of the season; the Tigers need one more win in their remaining three games after Arkansas to reach bowl eligibility, which the team has not achieved since 2023.
