Wind Gust Exposes Trump’s Thinning Hair as He Boards Air Force One

Wind blew up the back of Trump’s hair as he boarded the plane at Joint Base Andrews on October 30, revealing a thinning area he has spoken about publicly. Photographs showed pink skin on his scalp against the warm hue across his face and neck, with lighter strands visible beneath darker hair.

The moment drew jokes on X. One user compared the lifted hair to a wounded bird struggling to take off, while another joked that it was trying to “self deport.” The White House had not immediately responded to a request for comment.

Trump has described feeling unhappy about his thinning hair. Earlier in October, he stopped during a rally in San Antonio after seeing his rear profile displayed on a screen, saying the sight made him depressed. At a Dallas convention weeks earlier, he also commented on a patch of visible scalp after seeing himself on a large screen.

The episode came amid Trump’s recent remarks about other people’s appearances. At a rally on October 30, he again described looking over Ohio Sen. Jon Husted’s physique, including his legs, feet and hands. Trump also told a reporter to shape up on October 29.

Trump took finasteride, marketed as Propecia, during his first term. The medication has been absent from his health records since he returned to office.
