North Texas Early Voting Ends With Long Lines

Long lines formed across North Texas on October 30, the final day of early voting in Texas. In Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties, nearly 40% of registered voters had cast early ballots as voting neared its close.

At a polling place in DeSoto, voters were also considering Dallas County Proposition A, which would raise property taxes to fund homelessness programs.

The crowds included students voting for the first time as well as residents who had voted many times before. They came out on the last day to cast ballots and make their voices heard.

Reported by CBS Texas, FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth.
