Retailers Roll Out Thanksgiving Meal Deals for 2026

On October 30, retailers were advertising Thanksgiving meal deals with different prices, serving estimates and amounts of cooking required. Costco’s online-only bundle costs $199.99 after a $70 discount from its listed $269.99 price. The offer is for eight people and includes a five-pound turkey breast, prepared sides, rolls, apple cobbler and pumpkin pie.

Costco accepts preorders through November 13, with delivery dates from November 4 to November 20. The frozen bundle ships through FedEx with second-day delivery, and the discount is available through November 30 while supplies last.

Other retailers are offering lower-priced baskets that require more preparation. Walmart’s $35 assortment is advertised to feed 10 and includes 26 food items, with availability in stores and online through December 24. Target’s $30 deal is designed for six and includes a turkey of up to 10 pounds and ingredients for sides; shoppers prepare and cook the meal themselves. Target’s offer runs November 8 to November 29, before tax, and is unavailable in Alaska and Hawaii.

Sam’s Club members can begin buying its holiday spread online and in stores on October 28. The meal includes smoked turkey, ham, sides, rolls and two pumpkin pies; members may also customize their orders. Target is separately promoting $5 sides, pies, appetizers and wine. Food prices were up 2.5% year over year in September, while food-at-home prices rose 1.8%, according to the consumer price index.
