Kelce Vows Chiefs Will Rebound Against Broncos

Kansas City is looking to bounce back from a 20-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, a game in which the Chiefs managed only one field goal. Tight end Travis Kelce said on the New Heights podcast that the team would not repeat that performance against the Broncos, its AFC West rival.

Kelce led the Chiefs with four catches for 44 yards against Seattle. He described the defeat as a poor performance across the team and said it should motivate Kansas City to improve.

Denver has a chance to move into first place in the division with a win. The Broncos would reach 6-2, while Kansas City would be 5-2. Denver is also aiming to avoid a repeat of its Week 1 struggles against the Chiefs.

The Broncos’ priorities include getting more consistent play from quarterback Bo Nix and improving their tackling and run defense. Nix had an explosive performance against Arizona last week, including a 62-yard touchdown run and a 52-yard touchdown on a screen pass. Denver will need to balance aggression with taking what the defense allows, while spreading the ball among its receivers.

The Chiefs-Broncos game is scheduled to kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday.
