Amal Clooney Pairs Suede Coat With Thigh-High Boots in New York

Amal Clooney wore a camel-colored Gucci suede coat over an ivory dress and black thigh-high suede boots for a New York theater date with George Clooney on November 1. She completed the outfit with a small black bag and gold earrings as she accompanied her husband to Seaview Studio.

George took part in a one-night reading of “Smear!,” a political comedy written by Clark Gregg, his former co-star in “Good Night, and Good Luck.” He wore a navy sweater with a suit. The couple held hands and shared a kiss during their outing.

Amal’s coat comes from Gucci’s fall 2015 collection. She previously wore it to the Public Theater that year, with a white dress and sandals. The lawyer has also worn thigh-high boots on other occasions, including a February 2025 evening out with George and a dinner in 2018, when she paired suede boots with a yellow coat.

The appearance followed the couple’s mid-October co-hosting of The Albies, an annual event organized by the Clooney Foundation for Justice. Amal wore a gold fringed gown for the London ceremony, which recognizes people working for justice and human rights.
