Tyler Brown Remains Questionable for Clemson’s Syracuse Game

Clemson will wait until closer to the November 7 game at Syracuse to learn whether wide receiver Tyler Brown can play. The ACC injury report listed him as questionable on November 5, after he first appeared on the report the previous day. Kickoff is scheduled for noon at the JMA Wireless Dome, with the game on ESPN2.

Brown has 36 catches for 332 yards this season, ranking second on the Tigers in both categories. He has been a frequent target for freshman quarterback Tait Reynolds on late downs.

Clemson has 12 players listed as out, among them linebacker Kobe McCloud, center Harris Sewell and running back Gideon Davidson. Receiver Gordon Sellars III is also listed as questionable.

Syracuse has six players out, including backup quarterbacks Malachi Nelson and Amari Odom. Starting quarterback Steve Angeli has been listed as questionable on the two latest injury reports.

Both teams enter after wins: Clemson beat Florida State in Tallahassee, while Syracuse defeated No. 19 SMU at home. Clemson’s path to the ACC Championship picture also depends on Wake Forest losing a conference game.
