High Potential Season 3 Set for January 5 Return

High Potential will return to ABC on Tuesday, January 5, 2027, with its third-season premiere at 9 p.m. ET/PT. It will follow the fifth-season premiere of Will Trent at 8 p.m., as part of the network’s winter schedule announced on November 5, 2026.

The series was held for ABC’s midseason lineup rather than its fall schedule. Nora and Lilla Zuckerman, known for Poker Face, will assume co-showrunner and executive producer duties, succeeding Todd Harthan.

ABC has scheduled another High Potential episode for February 14, following the Super Bowl LXI broadcast. The date is also described as a special post-Super Bowl episode.

Steve Howey will not return as a series regular following the events of the season two finale, though he could appear as a guest star. The show stars Kaitlin Olson as Morgan Gillory.

All episodes from the first two seasons are available on Hulu and Disney+, with season two episodes also streaming on ABC.com.
