Dutton Ranch Season 2 Filming Set for Early 2027

Dutton Ranch is expected to return to production in early 2027, offering a clearer indication of when the Yellowstone spin-off’s second season is moving forward. Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton, shared the filming timeline at a Paramount event in the United Kingdom. An earlier interview also had her describing the start of filming as planned for early next year, with writing work beginning sooner.

Paramount+ renewed the series in June, before the eighth episode of its first season. The show follows Beth and Rip, played by Cole Hauser, after the events of Yellowstone. Its first season began in May 2026 and concluded on July 3.

The series drew 12.9 million viewers around the world during the seven days after its premiere, according to figures released by Paramount+. A second-season premiere date has not been set. If production proceeds on the expected schedule, the new episodes could arrive later in 2027, though the timing remains unconfirmed.

Benjamin Cavell is joining the series as showrunner for Season 2. The first season’s finale ended with cartel members abducting Carter, while other storylines involved the death of Rob-Will and Joaquin’s recovery. Reilly has said Beth and Rip’s story will continue in the new season.
