Shari Rosenblum Leaves Disney Television Studios

Shari Rosenblum has left Disney’s 20th Television and 20th Television Animation after accepting a voluntary early retirement offer extended to longtime employees. She most recently led publicity for the two studios as a senior vice president, a position she took on in 2022.

Rosenblum joined the television studio when it was still part of 20th Century Fox Television, before Disney acquired Fox. She had worked at the Fox studio since 2005 and became a Disney employee in 2017.

Her work included publicity campaigns for series across streaming, cable and broadcast. Among the shows she supported were Modern Family, Homeland, The Dropout, New Girl, Family Guy, The Simpsons and Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Disney Entertainment Television publicity executive Candice Ashton praised Rosenblum’s role in shaping the studios’ reputations and supporting their teams and creative partners. Rosenblum expressed gratitude to former colleagues and mentors, saying she valued the opportunity to work with television creators and the people who make and cover their shows.

Rosenblum joined the P.S. Arts board in 2019 and earned a Maxwell Weinberg honor for television, recognizing her Homeland work. Before joining the television studio, she worked on consumer product campaigns and in literary publicity.
